Contour and Highlight

Contouring

Contouring is one of the easiest and oldest tricks in the book to create a flawless face, high definition cheekbones and nose. My favourite contouring kit to use is Sleek Face Form contouring and blush palette in light 373. The highlighter has a pearly texture which compliments my own skin tone. The blush also has a shimmery tone which creates a structured look with the highlighter.

In order to contour, you need to understand where to put the product. On the diagram above you can see the areas where to put the bronzer or blush; around the base of the chin, the sides of the nose up towards the eye, around the temple and from the tragus toward the corner of the lip.
Highlight down the centre of the nose up onto the centre of the forehead, above the cheekbones around the eye area and in the centre of the chin. You can also add highlighter under the eyebrow bone and around the base of the cheek. Blend these in together to create the perfect contoured look!
