Elizabethan Face Charts - Final Face Charts

Face Chart One:

My first face chart is based around the colours that signify the Elizabethan era. The base will be the natural skin colour with white foundation placed where the colour would have been placed with contouring. This will be taken from the tragus up to the corner of the eye, in line with the side of the nose. This will be blended so that it's not massively bold but more blended in with the natural skin. I will then use a highlighter below the eyes on the cheek and the lower cheek under the triangle. The lips will be two toned; darker red on the top lip gradually fading down into the white to blend with the skin. The eyeshadow will be a dark red to add some colour to the look. I want the eye lashes to be white to really open up the eye creating an innocent look. The eyebrows would be natural, however when i tried out the look i decided to fill these in white to create the high forehead that would have been desired in Elizabethan times.

Face Chart Two:

Idea two is based more around the gold colours found in the Elizabethan era. I don't think that i will use this look because the colours are more brown then gold. The look is quite natural and nothing in this design stands out to me. I want the look to be more bold with more intense colours.

Face Chart Three:

Face chart three is based around the lips and eye. The base is Illamasqua rich liquid in white which creates a matte base. For this look I didn't want any contouring or colour on the face. The lips need to be matte, to match the skin. I wanted the lips to have the pinched effect, inspired by the image found of Cara Delevingne. The only part that would be red is the centre of the lip, with the last third of the lip in the white colour of the foundation. The eyes will be a mixture of white and red. With red eyebrows, blanking out any hair colour. Around the corner of the eye will be in a dark red, outlined with red eyeliner. This look may come across quite clown like, so i am hesitant to use this as a final design.
